Contornando a atualização do HPLIP para versão 3.12.11

Bem, ontem recebi um aviso de que havia uma nova atualização do HPlip para versão 3.12.11.
Isso porque durante a instalação preferi que o próprio hplip me notificasse sobre atualizações. Até aí tudo ok.
Porém ao clicar na opção de atualizar o programa não atualizava. (erro?)
Contornando.
Hoje resolvi resolver o problema e na primeira tentativa, fui bem sucedido. Posto aí para quem estiver com o mesmo problema.
Eu instalei meu hplip como root.
Então rodei o seguinte comando:
root@sinval-desktop:/home/sinval# hp-upgrade
